I was kept busy this month remembering all the September birthdays, a couple of funerals for our seniors, and of course activites for the seniors. The garden was overflowing with produce so I was busy canning and freezing. I have lots of food put away so come on over for dinner.
Dad took advantage of some warm dry weather and headed for the coast to stain the decks and get the beach house ready for the winter storms. Among other things he refinished the table in the basement and cut down a tree in the neighbors yard that was threatening to spoil our view. He is waiting for the Sheriff to call.
We have both been busy cleaning up the yard after a summer of neglect. It was much to hot to work out there. I love the fall weather, cool mornings and warm afternoons.
Dad and I took a short trip to the beach early in the month. The sky was beautiful, I wish I could have captured the clouds and atmosphere a little better.
Do you remember the peach tree Ian helped me plant. Here is one of the first peaches. MMmm they are delicous, I was surprised to find nine peaches on the tiny little tree, its first year. I hope it will do as well next year.
The kids are back to school and Tami and I are back going to our Daughters of the Utah pioneer meetings. We are always learning amazing things about settling the mountain west.
The highlight of the month was Dad's cruise in the San Juans. Here is Steve's boat. Pretty Cool eh.
Dad had a really good time. His gang is talking of repeating the trip again next year.
This is Tony and Steve showing off the boat.
Looks like they had perfect weather for cruising.
This little yacht was parked across from our boys. It rents for 350,000 a week. Maybe we could book it for a family cruise. Ha Ha. "

Looks like you had another good month. I think a family reunion on the yacht sounds like fun! Ha ha!
I hope dad got rid of the evidence this time. Someone needs to teach him some lessons about committing the perfect crime.
I like the yacht idea...
