May inTigard

Do I remember what happened in May? I loved all your blogs keep them coming. Sorry for being so slow this month As you can see the world turned green, we had lots of rain and very little sunshine. Here is Grandpa digging up the garden for me. I was lucky to find a few good days to get all the plants and seeds planted.

we attended a few events with the Bake
kids .Anders received his life scout award, Ellie entertained us at the Oregon State Fiddling regionals in Salem. We caught a few sunny days to watch Ian play baseball.

One of the exciting moments was watching our Russian friends take down two trees in our yard. I was glad that Dad agreed to have someone do the job for us. Dad got to saw all the logs and large branches into firewood and to chip up all the rest of the small branches. It was quite a job.

At last Lyle arrived to work on our bathroom . He worked for three days and then we left for Utah. We hope that he will return when we get home.

In the mean time our tractor broke down. Grandpa worked for a week trying to get it going again. He even drug up an old tractor from Utz's back yard for spare parts. On the last days he started it up, the engine roared, but the tractor would not move. In the mean time the grass was growing taller. Will we be able to find our house when we return from Utah?

Now for the best part. We arrived in Utah to see Seth baptized and confirmed to be a new member of the church. Seth we are happy you chose to be baptized. Good bye until the end of June.
