I just down loaded my pictures, there wasn't much. My calendar wasn't much help either. Not only has the month been dismal and cold it has been rather uneventful as well.
Your cousin John Ririe came for dinner the first Sunday of the month. He is living in Salem now. An old friend of his asked him to come and work for him. John is delivering Oxygen to patients around the area. He is enjoying the work and the patients. Adapting to the weather may be another problem. We caught up on all the family news. Joellen is having lots of back problems. Robin and Matts business is suffering, they have lost their house, they have moved back over closer to Brent and JoEllens place. Jim is still working back east, near Washington D.C. Scott lost his job and has moved in with Brent and Jo. Jason, I can't remember what his story is. Anyway we had a good visit with John, he is grateful for his job. We are thankful that all of you are employed.
I took my old book club down to the beach. It was fun getting caught up on all the news and talking about the books we have read lately. The rain poured down and we discover a leak in the kitchen dormer. Because of the weather our beach walks were few, and we were not even motivated to go out to eat. We cooked in, sat by the cozy fire and gabbed away.
Dad and I loaded up the ladder on top of the car and headed for the beach. We took along a couple who needed an outing. Dad climbed up on the dormer, and pulled off the rotted shingles, spread around the gooey tar and hammered on the new shingles. I was the gofer. Our little couple sat by the fire, had a snooze and watched the waves. I hope they didn't get to bored, the job took longer than we expected. The best part was the sunshine, we picked a good day for our repair job.
On another sunny day Ian came over to help me plant a couple of peach trees. Digging the hole and getting a little muddy was the best part. He earned a badge for cub scouts.
In a few years I hope we have some delicious peaches
Well I keep having trouble with my computer, it keeps trying to work off line and will not let me pull up anymore pictures. I moved over to Dad computer. I will try to finish up and post.
Tami and family invited us to spend a few days with them at the beach during their spring break. On our hike to Drift Creek falls we met this friendly little dog. He liked us so much that he followed us right into the van. It took us some time to convince him that we couldn't take him along with us.
Some of us look pretty friendly.

We are so excited to come out for a visit! Autumn asks every day how long until we go to Grandma's house! You'll have to order up some dry, warm weather for us. Ha! Ha!
Great job on the Blog Mom, you are getting better than anyone at this. Not to mention you guys seem to have more going on than any of us.
My favorite part of your blog is the last sideways photo. Very fitting.
