Late Oct and Nov

 

A last all the pencils are sharpened and I am ready to

start my blog.    Greeting to all of you  and I wish all  of you a happy Thanksgiving.

I am especially happy and thankful for the last couple  of months that I spent with some of the dear members of my family, that are separated by distance. 

As you know Joanne and I made it safely to Oregon.  We spent the next few weeks hanging out at my house.               

We played some games, painted, visited the seniors, took some walks in the park,and watched Anders, Ellie and Ian run in their Cross Country races. All to soon it was time to say goodbye and get on the road.

  

The drive to Utah was uneventful, we were blessed with good weather.  Melissa gathered up all her Moms belongings and took her home to enjoy the Ashby family.  If you read this Jo we miss you and hope that you will enjoy your winter in Utah.

The next few days kept us busy with all the activities at Jeff’s and Bryce’s house.

 

Autumn has a new flashy grin.

Seth entertained us as Icabod Crane  in the ”Legend of the Sleepy Hollow”..  Great Job Seth

All our favorite Disney songs, were sung to us by Megan’s school choir. Loved the music Megan, have a great time singing your way through the rest of Christmas season. 

Autumn dressed up as a gypsy, ready to go to her dance class.  She will tell you your fortune if you pass a little silver across her palm.

Next we are off to the Bingham Football game to be awed by Alysha as she leads the fans in cheers.  Wish  I could have ever, moved like you do.

     

  

 

Saturday 29 Oct we drove down to Snow College to visit Alex.   As you can see it is a beautiful little campus. Alex gave us the full tour, unfortunately most of the students were gone for the weekend so most of the buildings were closed.  Alex looked good and we were happy to see him.  Good luck Alex with your classes and have a great year. Alysha showed us how flexible she is.

Monday we were back in Provo and stopped by the Old tabernacle.  It is going to make a handsome temple some day.  They do not appear to be doing any work on it yet.

The whole family dressed up, and ready for some trick or  treating.  I’m not sure who Sasha is dressed up as?

  

New Jersey  at last.  We arrived after the hurricane and the big snow Storm.

Here is the best picture I could find of the big game.  We traveled here to see Brandon play in a Football game.  He did a great job, wish we could have seen more of your games, Brandon.

 

Brandon and Rob took us out for a last ride on the lake before the boat was put away for the winter.  The day was sunny and the colors beautiful, and the swans graceful.

 

Sunday afternoon Rob drove us to see a view of the city, later we stopped to see a 9/11 memorial.

  

The Games.    Brandon is the champion..  We loved being with our New Jersey family, thanks for being so kind

to us, we missed Chayce  and hope we can see all of you together soon.

 

 

Back in Utah to listen to Megan sing to us again in a wonderful concert.  

 

  

Devin our budding actor performed in “Charlottes Web” as Henry Fussy.  Great job Devin, Thanks for making

us laugh and making us happy.

We ending our journey at Jeff’s.  Alex came home to visit for a day. His mom did his laundry and Alex raided the pantry. The girls were busy with their activities.    Sunday we drove home to Oregon .    Love all of you take care and have a happy Thanksgiving.
