For such a long month it surprises me that it is done already. I really meant to get a lot more done. Maybe in March.
The bushtits loved our suet feeder, and kept us happy as they arrived in little flocks for breakfast and supper. The other birds visit occasionally but are not as entertaining as the regular bushtits.
The most dramatic change was on Mrs..... Thurston’s lot. She died last fall and her heirs have sold the property to a developer. First they cut down all the trees.
Her house was revealed. Some of the cedars that bordered her property were huge. they kept the road busy hauling out all the debris and the logs. Now we are wondering how they will take out all the stumps and what they plan to do, how many houses, etc.
This is a rather dark picture, but it shows how the removal of the trees between Franzke’s and Thurston’s should let the sunshine into the neighborhood.
Can you believe the sunshine. We found it down at the coast.. Tom came down to enjoy it with us.
IJoanne has been here for a visit. The girls got together for lunch out in Scholls, a good place for soup and sandwiches not to mention yummy cookies.
Joanne did spend a week end with us, and Melissa invited us over for a evening of good food and games. We hope that we can spend a little more time together after we get back from Utah.
Well not many pictures and not much going on, Dad has pruned the fruit trees and I guess we have had time to read a few book. After seeing Les Mierables I decided to read the book again. It may take me a while.
Our coach is at the door. So farewell until next month. Love Grandma

All the years we lived there and that was the first time I've ever seen that house. I guess the whole street will go that way eventually. You Oregonions sure love to live on top of each other.
You really were fast getting your blog up this month. I will have to work harder to get ours up - as soon as I get caught up. :) Sure was wonderful of you to come stay with us!
