It is a good thing that Bryce and Michelle sent us to Utah this month or we wouldn’t have much to report. I’m thinking that we need to liven up our lives. We sound pretty dull. However our first week was lots of fun.
We arrived in time to see Seth in his play. He is a natural and did a good job of staying in character for the whole show.
We are so glad that we were able to watch you perform Seth.
Jeff and Debbie took us to a game in Pleasant Grove and we were able to watch the talented Alysha perform. The game was fast and fun also.
Saturday we watched Devin fencing. He has the moves, and I think he loves the sport. If we are ever in danger of facing some pirates on a ship we want Devin along to keep the bad guys away.
Here is Seth working hard on the basketball court.
In the mean time the rest of us took in the “Phantom of the Opera” down in Provo.
It was a good production and I enjoyed the chance to see one of my favorite shows once again.
Sunday we spent with Bryce and Family watching Bryce being put into the Bishopric. We sure enjoyed being there for the occasion. We know he will do a great job, we were so happy to be there for that special day. Thanks Bryce and Michelle for making sure that we were there.
Monday we went to Lunch with Ron and Afton at Thanksgiving point, and they drove us to Jeff’s house.
Alysha cheered at a game at Bingham. We always love to see her show off with the girls. It was fun to be with Alysha and Brittany for a short time. Wednesday we were off to home.
Back home and the most exciting thing is a deer sleeping on our lawn. If you enlarge the picture you may see it.
We took Dad to the see the Doc, the Doc is sending him to see a vascular specialist, Dad has numbness in his hands and feet.
Our life picked up again during the last week. We spent it with the Bake kids while Mom and Dad played in the sand in the Caribbean. The kids were great, so it was just good fun being with them and participating in all their activities. Anders and Ellie are sounding interested in becoming golfers. Ian worked hard on his basket ball, school, and music. We came home while the kids were in School and Dad worked on cutting down the old Cherry tree. It has become such a pain to prune every year and the few cherries it produces are full of worms. We plan to plant a new one.
Alex’s letters from the mission field are always a highlight every week. Good work Alex.
We are glad that Brandon had a Birthday and we were pleased to talk with him. Sounds like he is enjoying University.
We look forward to your blogs and send our love to you.
Love Mom and Dad
