September has been very busy. Is that an excuse for my laziness? Anyway here is my report for August.
On the second of August we held an Ice cream social for the seniors. We invited a singer to sing some old time songs for us. I guess I worked Dad to hard because that is the night Dad started with his chest pains. By Sunday we finally talked Dad into visiting the ER. The next morning Dr. Gomez inserted a stent into a blocked artery in Dads heart.
Dad doesn’t look to bad here. The support from Tami and family were welcome.
This is a nurse in training, learning how give him all his pills and what to watch for.
Here is Dad recuperating from the Ordeal.
We were blessed with a visit from Chayce and Kim. They were able to calm and cheer up Grandpa. Thanks for coming to the rescue.
By the end of August dad was well enough for a short trip to the beach. Anders was here and added his support for Grandpa.
Grandpa was ready to start his cardiac rehab by the end of the month. The challenge is to get him to drink enough water.
Tune in next month for the rest of the story.
Love to all of you. A big thanks for all your phone calls and and support.

We are glad to hear that Grandpa is recovering from his heart surgery and are praying that he continues to heal and his back heals, too. Wish we were closer so we could stop by for a visit!
