September

I took  my camera to the Chinese garden on Saturday and wondered why I couldn’t take any pictures.  It turns out that I didn’t have a memory  card in my camera.  No wonder I do not have any pictures  for the month of September.

This one was taken at the beach on the first weekend of September we traveled down to check out the beach house.  We found one of the glass panels out, not broken thank goodness. Dad was able to fix it.  The sunset was awesome.

Dad fell on the 6th while going to the bathroom, truthfully he blacked out.  He was in terrible pain.  By Tuesday Jerry Rump and I were able to get him to the emergency room.  Dad was put in the hospital to get his blood pressure under control and his pain managed.  The heart doctor lowered his heart medication, and the hospital tried to find some pain medication that Dad could tolerate.

The rest of the month has been spent getting dad back to normal. He continues to get better a little each day.  He is even putting away the dishes from the dish washer this morning.  We have been busy with doctor appointments for Dave.  Visiting, and going out to lunch has kept me busy.  We have been blessed by visits from friends and family  that who have pitched in and helped keep the yard from becoming a jungle.

We hired Craig Edwards to come and help in the yard that has been a great help.

We love all your blogs  keep them coming.  Of course the highlight of each week is the letters from Megan and Alex.  We are blessed.

Love Grandma and Grandpa
