Honest I did have this blog started but it seems to be lost. So I’ll start again.
As you can see the days are getting shorter, but light is in sight. I love this time of year but I long for longer days and more light.
Time to get out the decorations and get ready for all the celebrations. Ellie and her friends found a beautiful tree and delivered it to our door. We put up the decorations and got ready to celebrate the most special day of the year.
Time to make gingerbread houses. Anders a BYU fan built the football stadium.
Christmas eve our invited guest Samantha fixed us up with some funny hats.
The usual Christmas dinner and nativity followed, with scripture and music.
The bakes invited us for Christmas day. Jeff Bake feed us a great Breakfast and spent the rest of the day cooking us a special dinner. Yum yum.
Dad spent a good deal of the month going to see the back therapist and the hand therapist. We think, hope, he is getting better.
Francis Rogers died on Christmas eve. He was a good man and stayed true to his commitment to serve in anyway he could. We will miss him. Darlene is moving to Rexburg to live with her daughter Jean. I am going to miss them both.
See you all in January.
Love Grandma
