March 2015

Goody I have a few pictures to share.  This has been a busy month.  The weather has been wonderful so we have been able to enjoy the out of doors.

Can you believe a day like this in early march?  It makes me think we need to be down at the beach.

How do you like our new washing machine, it makes the old dryer look a little dingy.   The new washer runs nice and smooth, glad to see the old one go.

We took a hike to Niagara Falls.  Who is that old lady?

The hike was beautiful, the falls, was pretty, but it did not live up to its name sake.  I will not recommend it.  The hike was short but the drive to it was long and torturous. However it took care of an afternoons entertainment.

This falls on the way back to civilization was worthy of a short photo stop.

Back in Tigard we were busy making trips to the dump and the DI truck.

Tom White came and carted off a bit??? of wheat for his neighbor’s  chickens.

I hope I get points for keeping a year or two food supply. Just think how healthy you would all have been if  I had been as obedient and fed you all of that wheat.   I think there was a few buckets of beans and rice in the mix.     At least I can feel good about feeding the chickens.

I’m busy watching and enjoying the sun rises. I’ll treasure them while I can.

Spring flowers are another joy to savor.

Grandpa has the front yard looking beautiful.

Thanks to grandpa for digging up the vegetable beds, I have been able to start planting the garden.

The Franzkes are still working on their house, no decisions have been made yet.  It doesn’t look like they are ready to put the house on the market anytime soon.

That’s the news for March.  Enjoy conference everyone.  Have a happy Easter.   We love you all.

Love Grandma and Grandpa

Your yard looks great. I don't know how you keep up with it all. The coast looks so nice, I don't know why you don't stay down there all the time. See you soon.

Your yard looks so beautiful! And the coast - wow! We are looking forward to taking a trip out to see it in July. If you could order up some sunny, windless days for us... :) Love you both!
