September 2015

September was beautiful.  Nice warm weather for the whole month.  By looking at the calendar we celebrated a few birthdays, sent a few grandkids off to college.  We visited a few Doctors and found that we both are going to keep going for a while, with the help of a few new pills.  Lots of people in our ward need help, so we kept busy helping out.  We have one sad case, an eight year old girl with cancer, so we  go to keep Holly company while her mom gets a little break.   Hopefully we are helping to pay for our stay on the planet.

The long hot summer has left our lawn nice and brown.  The sun gave us lot of nice ripe tomatoes and cool cucumbers, the corn was good but we didn’t have a huge bounty of ears.

The Nike Invitational at Portland Meadows,  put the Bake family to work.

Ian worked hard to bring points for his team.  He did very well, number three for his varsity team.

Grandpa and Grandma came along to enjoy the day and watch all the races.

That it for September. We started our search for a new place to live.  So far nothing has got us very excited.

Love to all of you.

You both are such wonderful examples to me of love and service. I feel so lucky to have you both for in-laws. Love to you both!
