This has been a slow and hard week for me. First I suffered from withdrawal after everyone left us all alone. Then our septic tank backed up just as I was getting ready to wash up all the towels and sheets to get ready for some of the White’s relatives or family. As I tried to wring out the towels I was glad I was not a pioneer. Fortunately the Whites had found beds for everyone with out taking advantage of our hospitality. A bed without a toilet or shower wouldn’t have been of much use. Sunday and Monday were taken up in saying good bye to Sheryl. I am still finding it hard to realize that she left us so quickly. Tuesday Grandpa with the help of Anders dug a hole down to the septic tank. Thanks for the help Anders. Wednesday the pump truck came and we were rescued. On top of this the cold I had been developing since the reunion took over and I was left with a terrible cough. Well enough of my sad song. We are moving forward and it is time to bring back all the happy memories of the last couple of week in July.
First of all it was a happy day when we picked up Autumn and Seth from the airplane. We are so glad that they were so brave to fly all by themselves to visit Grandpa and Grandma. They certainly brightened up our days.
They had fun playing in the yard and around the house. We took a trip to the zoo with the Bake cousins.
Lunch for us and lunch for the birds and the goats.
A little fun with a fire in Grandpa’s back yard.
Uncle Rob and family stopped here before the reunion. They went via Roseburg.
Enjoying Uncle Rob and family.
Here we have Seth stopping long enough to get his picture taken.
We went down to the beach with Jeff’s family for a few days before the reunion and enjoyed the beach.
Having fun with Alysha, Brittany and Alex at the beach.
Alysha being help to the car after her mishap on the skim board. We are glad that you recovered quickly.
Someone was pretty happy to see her mom. The family is now all in Oregon let the fun begin.
We paused to take some family pictures.
