Hello every one. I have enjoyed everyone’s blogs. They are predicting rain today so I will take a rest from my garden and write my blog. I feel too stiff and sore to be working out of doors anyway.
Grandpa spent the best part of the month finishing off the cherry tree. Anders and Ian came to the rescue and helped splitting all the wood and getting it all stacked. Alan Stratton a friend from the ward came and cut up the stump, he is going to use the wood to make some bowls out of the cherry wood. Tom White helped Dad bring home the splitter from Home Depot. So thanks to our friends and grand boys an old landmark is gone.
We belong to a little family home evening group. It was our turn to have the program at our house. Dad did a great presentation on southern Utah and the “Hole in the Rock” pioneers. We showed a film about the pioneers and fed them bread pudding.
All the honored Sisters came for a tea, so that kept me busy for a few days.
Dad has been having trouble with numb hands and prickly burning feet. We took him to the Vascular doctor. She examined him and reported that his blood circulation is good. That was a relief. Now its time to find out what the real problem is.
For Easter break we accompanied Tami and Kids down to the beach.
Relaxing
Building Dams. Going to Moe’s for chowder.
Hiking to the top of little Bear Hump.
At the top. Proof that I can still make it to the top.
The view is still worth the trip
Enjoying the warm windless beach. What a perfect day.
Making Chocolate Easter eggs.
The foosball tournament to 100. The final score 100 to 99 for Ian.
The trip was lots of fun.
Congratulations to Megan and her call to the Houston Texas Mission. You have made us very happy.
Now we are looking forward to April fun with a trip to Arizona.

Sounds like another fun month for you guys. Maybe someday we will experience one of those perfect windless, sunny days at the coast. :)
We should have a funeral for the cherry tree. I thought we agreed to take the chain saw away from grandpa?
