-This has been a merry month, with lots of family to see and visit with. First we were excited to have Bergen and Anastasia here for a short visit. Melissa joined us for Breakfast and a cousin get together.
We drove down to the coast , the weather was good, we hit many good viewing spots and spent the afternoon at the aquarium. It was good to have them visit. I hope they will come again.
Ron and Afton arrived soon after. We did a little sight seeing around Portland, including the Rhododendron gardens, Powel’s book store and yes a stop at the famous Voo Doo Donut shop. Then it was off to the coast for some fun. Our favorite stop at Tillamook ice cream included a short hike up to Munson falls. “Sin Sex and CIA” was playing at the local play house, we finally talked Uncle Ron into going. We are happy to report that he laughed and enjoyed the show.
Ellie has become a graceful dancer. Her dance recital was lovely.
For something different we drove the seniors out to see the rock Museum in Hillsboro
Pretty Interesting fun until you get tired.
The rains returned, it is keeping things green and now and then we see a rainbow.
Ian is growing, he has to, to fit his baritone sax.
On May 30 we took a little road trip through central Oregon and visited a couple of interesting spots.
This is Smith Rock State Park. If you are interested in climbing rocks this is the place to go for the adventure.
Have any of you been to the Painted Hills? There is always something new to see.
In Highland at last. Mom and Dad are on their way to Hawaii, Seth is off on a scout hike and we are here to watch Autumn Dance.
Isn’t that a wonderful smile? Autumn is a talented little dancer.
We are so glad we got to see her recital.
Here is our beautiful graduate, with her awards, proud grandparents and wonderful friends.
Thanks for having us come to share your wonderful day Alysha. We had fun watching you graduate, and seeing the excitement of this special time of your life.
Love to all of you. Thanks for being a wonderful family to enjoy.

Your trip to central OR looks really cool. Amazing when you think about how long you have lived in Oregon and how many trips you have taken around the state and yet there are still places you haven't seen.
Glad we got to see you for a little bit and that you got to go to Autumn's recital - she loved having you there!!
