I will remember this beautiful Indian Summer in the years to come. The fall leaves have been spectacular. The days have been sunny and warm. Perfect weather for getting the fall chores done, and pleasant afternoons for all the cross country races.
I hired Craig Edwards to help me clean up the yard. He and his friend cleaned off the roof and power washed the driveway and the bricks. We are beginning to look respectable once again. Dad pitches in every now and then and then lives to regret it the next day. He is slowly improving we think. The heart Doc is reluctant to put him on stronger medicine because his blood pressure is still low. We go to see the regular Doc tomorrow, we will see what he has to say about his back. Dad has been going to a therapist, we hope she is helping him.
Here are our cross country runners, keeping us entertained for the fall season. They work hard and always make us proud.
Joanne came for a visit. I always have fun when she is here.
She and Melissa surprised us and brought dinner for my birthday.
The four of us went for Lunch and stopped by the pond to enjoy the sunshine.
Fall time is a good time for watching the birds.
Joanne did some painting for Dad on his carved figures.
Here is grandpa try to fix my Vacuum. OOps looks like he is off or on his side.
Until next month, we love you and wish you a happy month.
